Welcome to Washed! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our laundry services, including residential wash/dry/fold, commercial laundry, vacation linen rentals, and pickup and delivery. 1. Our Services

Washed LLC provides the following laundry services to customers in our service areas:

  • Residential Wash, Dry & Fold — Full-service laundry for households, including washing, drying, and folding.
  • Commercial Laundry — Laundry services for businesses such as restaurants, salons, gyms, and other commercial clients.
  • Vacation Linen Rentals — Linen rental and laundering for short-term rental properties and vacation accommodations.
  • Pickup & Delivery — Scheduled pickup and delivery of laundry and linens within our designated service areas.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time, and will provide reasonable notice when possible.

2. Garment & Linen Care

2a. How we handle your items

We take care with every order and use industry-standard washing and drying practices. Here’s what you should know:

  • All items are accepted by weight — we do not perform a piece-by-piece count at drop-off.
  • Due to the volume of orders we process, we are unable to read individual manufacturer care labels. If any items require special care, please inform us at the time of pickup or drop-off.
  • We use front-load washers with high-speed extraction cycles. Some delicate or specialty items may not be suited to this process.
  • We are not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear and tear or minor shrinkage during washing and drying.
  • We do not guarantee the removal of all stains.
  • We reserve the right to refuse cleaning any item we determine is unsuitable for our process.

2b. Special care & delicate items

We are not liable for damage to items that require special handling (e.g., hand-wash only, dry clean only, or embellished garments). We encourage customers to carefully consider whether they are comfortable submitting any item they would not want to risk losing or damaging.

2c. Personal items left in garments or bags

Please check all pockets and bags before submitting items. Washed is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in clothing or bags, including money, jewelry, keys, electronics, or other valuables.

2d. Lost or damaged items

If you believe an item was lost or damaged during our service, please notify us within 5 business days of receiving your delivery. Failure to do so constitutes a waiver of any claim related to that delivery. Contact us at hello@lifebeforelaundry.com or (757) 632-4131.

3. Pickup & Delivery

Our pickup and delivery service is available in designated service areas. By scheduling a pickup, you agree to the following:

  • You are responsible for ensuring items are ready and accessible at the scheduled pickup time.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled windows, but times may vary due to route volume or other factors.
  • Delivery will be made to the address provided at scheduling. We are not responsible for items left unattended after drop-off.
  • We reserve the right to adjust service areas, pickup windows, and delivery schedules with reasonable notice.

4. Commercial Laundry

Commercial accounts are subject to these Terms plus any additional agreements established at account setup. Commercial customers agree to:

  • Provide items free of hazardous materials, excessive soiling, or biohazardous content.
  • Maintain accurate records of items submitted, as we accept orders by weight and do not perform piece counts.
  • Notify us of any service concerns within 5 business days of delivery.

5. Vacation Linen Rentals

Our vacation linen rental service is designed for short-term rental operators and property managers. By using this service, you agree to:

  • Return linens in a condition that does not pose a safety or health risk to our team. Excessively soiled or damaged linens may incur additional fees.
  • Accept that standard wear, minor staining, and light fading from regular laundering are expected over time.
  • Provide accurate property and scheduling information. We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information.

6. Allergy Notice

Our washing machines are shared across multiple orders and may contain trace amounts of detergents from prior cycles. If you have known allergies or sensitivities to laundry products, please inform us before using our services. By using our services, you acknowledge this possibility and voluntarily assume the risk of any resulting reaction.

7. Payments & Pricing

Current pricing is available at lifebeforelaundry.com or by contacting us directly. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file.

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless you have an established commercial account with agreed billing terms.
  • We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable advance notice.
  • Returned payments or failed charges may result in a service hold until payment is resolved.

8. Cancellations & Changes

To cancel or reschedule a pickup:

  • Please notify us as soon as possible — ideally at least 2 hours before your scheduled pickup time.
  • Cancellations made after pickup has occurred will be charged for the service.
  • For commercial and linen rental accounts, cancellation policies may be outlined in your account agreement.

9. Limitation of Liability

Washed LLC’s liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in which the issue arose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, regardless of how a claim is brought. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the revised version on our website and update the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Norfolk, Virginia.
